CHILDRENS HOSPICE APPEAL
In November 2002, BLP adopted a local charity; Bluebellwood Childrens Hospice Appeal/The Richard Foundation, who are raising funds of £5million to build a childrens hospice in South Yorkshire.

BLUEBELLWOOD
Bluebellwood Childrens Hospice will be a respite home to provide medical and practical support and care for families of children who are suffering from life limiting conditions. A total of £5million is needed to complete the project, with annual running costs of around £1.6million thereafter.

THE RICHARD FOUNDATION
The Richard Foundation is a charitable foundation named after Richard Cooper, a local boy who died from a degenerative disease, aged 11 years. Bluebellwood is being built in his memory and to support other children whose families are suffering similar trauma and distress.

BLP have been supporting the appeal with various fundraising and charity events, and have to date raised over £20,000.
